Tired Feet Exercises

After a long days work there’s nothing better than a nice relaxing massage or a soak in the tub. Our feet which nearly always take the brunt of our daily abuse also need love. So if your not able to get your significant other or whomever to give your feet the love they need with a massage, you can at least stretch and exercise them.

Here are few exercises you can complete throughout the day or when you get home to ease the stress form your overworked dogs.

Exercise 1

  1. Sit on the edge of a chair.
  2. With legs raised, clasp your hands around your bent knees.
  3. Rotate your feet, first outwards and then inwards, then upwards and finally downwards.
  4. Repeat 30 times.

Exercise 2

  1. Sit on the edge of a chair.
  2. Place a tin on the floor ( this could be a tin of baked beans or whatever). Put your right foot on it and roll it backwards and forwards from the tips of the toes to the heel.
  3. Repeat with other foot.
  4. Do it 10 times with each foot.

Exercise 3

  1. Sit on the floor. Bend your knees and keep back straight.
  2. Clasp the right foot with the right hand and left foot with the left hand.
  3. Raise left and right feet alternatively.
  4. Repeat 10 times.

Exercise 4

  1. Lie on your back with your legs raised resting against a wall.
  2. Try to form a right angle between your legs and your body.
  3. Stay in this position until you feel refreshed.
