Use of color
You can liven up your look by incorporating more colours into your wardrobe palette. It could be as easy as wearing a brightly coloured t-shirt under a v-neck sweater or vest, you could even sport a coloured dress shirt or sweater. Adding color will liven up otherwise dull neutral tones and bring diversity to your look. But the most important thing is wearing colors near your face since that is where it will have the most impact and keep you looking vibrant and vital.
A new pair of glasses or sunglasses
Glasses are a great way to express your individuality. The great thing about glasses is that you can simply wear a t-shirt and jeans, but with the right pair of glasses you suddenly stand out form the crowd. You may want to have at least a couple of pairs, one pair that is bold and expressive of your casual or fun side and one that is more subdued reflecting your professional or serious self. This way you can match your glasses with your mood or outfit.

Obtain one or two super pieces
Buying one or two great pieces that will really keep you looking stylish is a must. This could be a cool blazer or sport coat, a leather jacket or an awesome pair of jeans that really show off your assets. Whatever the article of clothing, make sure it’s a piece that you know you will wear often and is flattering to your shape and build.

You may have noticed that recently elaborate belts with interesting buckles have become quite the fashion statement. And they can be quite inexpensive as well. You could also try going to a thrift store and seeing what vintage belt styles they may have.

Shoes are usually the first thing a person looks at when they meet you, especially women. Next they look at clothes and then your face. A tattered pair of shoes is always a turn off. It doesn’t matter if you wear dress shoes or sneakers, keep them looking their best. This may just mean getting a shoe shine or picking up a new pair altogether.
Get a decent watch
Since men don’t have many options when it comes to jewelry, a watch is a great way to express yourself as well as liven up your look. You can have a selection of watches and choose one to match your outfit. Or have a smaller selection of say two or three for specifically, work/ business, casual, special occasions such as weddings, etc.
